I was saved Oct of 1995. I was baptized in a lake in 2009. I attended different churches. I sat in the congregation and listened to the preaching. I was taught to serve in the Church and tithe 10% of my income. I learned my share of christianese. Yet my understanding of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit was limited. I was not growing, either were the other members in the church. The pastor's preaching was motivational and I enjoyed listening to their personal stories, but my knowledge wasn't growing. The churches I attended encouraged street evangelism. Our goal was to get as many strangers as possible to say the "prayer of salvation." We would sit in the bus after evangelizing to see who got the most "fish."

A friend told me about a Bible school that he was starting. He asked if I would be interested in attending a 16-week course. He explained that it would be a foundational class for individuals interested in growing their knowledge of the Bible with specific topics each week. I decided to attended the spring 2024 course. At the time, I enrolled more as a of favor to my friend.

The course was literally life-changing. The deep dive into Scriptures unlocked many mysteries, answered many questions and brought clarity to passages that I've heard before, but with deep meaning. The course not only changed me, but I watched others being transformed by the knowledge that was shared straight out of the Bible. The instructor David Grams didn't share personal stories, but he came prepared to teach every class on scriptures. When students had questions, (and they had a lot of questions), David was able to answer their questions quickly and supported each answer with scripture.

Thank you David. I learned through this course, that a believer is held to a higher standard than a non- believer, Luke 12:47-48. This class was so foundational to my understanding of the Bible. I learned an incredible amount about the Word in 16 weeks. The knowledge from the course, has become an impetus to keep seeking God the Father in Heaven, His Son Jesus our Lord and the Holy Spirit.

The Foundations Course is VITAL for a successful life on earth as a Christian. Oh how I wish someone would have discipled me when I first said a prayer for salvation at age sixteen!
Everyone is on a life journey; I urge you to choose the straight and narrow path by being discipled, as Jesus commanded ~ “Follow Me. Make disciples.”
Learn what it means to live repentant, live as a servant and to walk humbly with Jesus as Lord in supernatural, Holy Spirit power!
I am eternally grateful for these studies and without words to adequately describe the value…but on earth as it is in heaven. Check it out for yourself and for those you care about today. Your life will never be the same, but have true love and purpose.

Through this course I have gained an in depth understanding of the foundational principles of what it means to to know and love Jesus while learning how to live the Christian life. I finally have a biblically sound view of who God is and what my role is as a child of God.

I've been a Christian for 40 years and I signed up for this course because I wanted a faith "refresher", but it was so much more! David took us on a deep dive into all the essential teachings about discipleship, with practical tools for putting them into action. Now, I am not just a believer in Christ, but I am a true disciple, and I am equipped to go out and make more disciples--just like Jesus told us to do.
